The VS+CO Commitment to Safety & Quality
Our track record for on-the-job safety demonstrates unequivocally the benefits of training and industry-leading safety practices. In our view, a successful and comprehensive safety program has four key elements:
- Quality commitment – We believe and live by safe procedures each and every day. At VS+CO, safety is one of our core values. We view safety as everyone’s responsibility and we all share a commitment to keeping our workplace safe.
- Quality personnel – Our dedicated staff are committed to always performing at their best. To that end, they stay informed on safety updates and proactively build their knowledge on the subject. Most importantly, they continually refresh their knowledge of standard safety procedures no matter how long they've been in the business.
- Quality program – This is the core of safety, a well-documented and thorough program. For VS+CO, this means that our safety curriculum extends beyond standard documents to also include extensive training in all aspects of safety on the job site, orientations, tool box talks, OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training programs, training for correct use of personal protective equipment and specialized equipment that may be project-specific, and safety planning.
- Quality implementation – Even the best program is of little use unless every employee adheres to its guidelines. With numerous levels of reporting and tracking, VS+CO constantly verifies that our safety program is being followed by everyone as intended.
